) Fire Guts A Bus on third mainland bridge

A commercial bus has reportedly been engulfed by fire on the Third Mainland Bridge.

The incident was said to have occurred at Adekunle outward Third Mainland Bridge.

One lane has been opened for vehicles to reduce the backlog of traffic.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos State Command Olusegun Ogungbemide, has confirmed the incident.

2) One killed In Petrol Tanker Fire In Kano State

The Kano State Fire Service has confirmed one person killed in a fire incident involving a petrol tanker at Kofar Ruwa area of Kano metropolis.

The spokesman of the Service, Mr. Saidu Mohammed, confirmed the incident in a statement in Kano.

Mohammed said the incident occurred on at Audu Manager fuel servicing station on Kofar Ruwa Road in Dala Local Government Area of the state.

3) Again, Bandits Attack Communities In Niger State

Armed bandits have attacked two villages under Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.

The latest attack occurred in Agwaja Village and Godora where the assailants invaded the place in large numbers on motorcycles and shot at residents of the communities.

The bandits also rustled animals and stole food items from houses and shops during the attack, which lasted for hours.

4) Two Men Die In Osun Auto Accident

Two men lost their lives in an auto accident involving a Mack truck without number plates, a Honda Element with number plates GGG143AJ and a Bajaj motorcycle SMK124QR along Osogbo-Obokun road in Osun State.

According to sources, the truck had a failed break and rammed into the upcoming vehicle and the commercial motorcyclists killing the two persons at the spot.

Commercial motorcyclists at the scene almost lynched the driver of the truck but for the timely arrival of officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

Confirming the incident, the Sector Public Education Officer, Agnes Ogungbemi, said the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital Osogbo.

When will the act of losing hundreds of lives end in this country? What advice would you give the Government on how they can end the issue of banditry in the country? This is getting too much….Let Federal Government please do something about these issues.
